Today I am proud to officially announce our opening of the West Vinewood Station.
This is a massive achievement and milestone for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department as it is our first ever station within the Los Santos city boundaries. For many years, previous leaderships have tried and tried to get a station approved in the city.
This was always met with a forceful no from many parties over the years and we've always persevered and kept going strong, this is where we saw the implementation of the East Los Santos station and our Santa Clara Station, which up until this point has served our department well over the course of many years.
When SA-MP closed down the first time a shift in leadership on both sides of the table changed and this is where we began to start working together and not continuously have a ego battle on who's better than who. Since then we moved our HQ over to the building that was originally used for the Courts, but has since been turned into a Hall of Justice and now we've a station.
With the opening of a new station, this means we've to close another. It was a decision to close down our Santa Clara station. This decision wasn't a easy change since it's a hub for many people and how they roleplay surrounding it. You may of already seen, we've begun the transfer of everything Santa Clara over to West Vinewood, whether that be on Discord or the forum, there may be some things we've missed along the way, but whose perfect and gets it right first time?
With this announcement, we've got to give some special props to @Ricardo Papier as he is the one who has worked hard on actually creating the model from scratch and all the environment surrounding it, without him we wouldn't have this station. Below are some pictures of the station:
