Distinguished Service Award: The Distinguished Service Award officially recognizes exceptional performance by employees of this Department whose actions were far beyond those required for their position and resulted in a significant contribution towards the betterment of our Department and its members through improved efficiency, improved personal safety, enhanced public image and consistent career excellence.

The award consists of a medal and a ribbon.

In recognition of the work that Deputy Terrence Wright put into the Field Training Program during the month of August, the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department awards Deputy Terrence Wright with the exemplary service award. Deputy Terrence Wright went far and beyond in the month of August in training new patrol personnel and ended the month with the most amount of field training patrols.
We thank him for the hard work and assistance in building the future of our department.

In recognition of his outstanding dedication and contributions during the month of May, the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department proudly presents the Exemplary Service Award to Sergeant Carlos Tejero. Demonstrating unwavering commitment to the Field Training Program, Sergeant Tejero led the department being the most active supervisor and member this month, playing a vital role in leading and guiding patrol personnel.

Beyond his primary responsibilities, Sergeant Tejero distinguished himself through his active involvement in a range of departmental initiatives. He provided essential support to the Training Bureau during its recent recruitment efforts and served the West Vinewood Sheriff’s Station in both administrative and operational roles. His multifaceted contributions reflect a deep dedication to the growth and future of our department.
