Instructions to the Applicant

The information you provide in this Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST.
  • It is your responsibility to complete this form and provide all required information.
  • This document must be filled out electronically and printed.
  • You must respond to all items and questions. Check applicable boxes with an "X". If a question does not apply to you, write “D.N.A” (does not apply) in the space provided for your response.
  • By submitting this form, you affirm that you have read and understood the Essential Job Functions and Selection Requirements of the position applied for.
  • (( Preview your application before submitting it to make sure that all the BBCode works properly. If it does not, use the blank application format as a guidance tool to fix it. Try to avoid touching the BBCode and only fill out text answers, and that way it will not break. ))
Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

BOTTOM LINE: You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful responses.

Xander Evercrest, A red-blooded Indian-American with an oriental look of a kind not seen among American Indians, Xander’s experience stretches across India and America. At present, he resides at 37 Red Avenue in Downtown Los Santos; his academic career began at Los Santos Public School and ended with the graduation from Los Santos High School. Besides, his love for crime and its study made him choose a Humanities course Criminology as his major.

During Xander’s transition into manhood, he worked for a cargo truck business called ‘Los Santos Trucker’ as a driver delivering goods. However, his heart was in search of something else. When he was eighteen years old, he decided to look for another job that is not truck driving. He also appreciated talking to fellow students despite being quiet himself. Those meetings reminded him of who he really was through baggy clothes and hairstyles possibly showing a laid-back approach towards life.

But Xander’s true calling lay elsewhere. For him law enforcement has never been just an occupation but rather the highest ministerial calling on earth. The department of the Sheriff in Los Santos attracted his attention because it enabled him to make some real impact within his community gangly boys like himself always believed in protection able to be achieved through personal strength but not weapons or badges. The work place had direct ties with local neighborhoods and dealt with their concerns, orderliness maintenance measures were put in place while safety was ensured by it.Thus Xander felt that what he saw here could help fulfil his dreams since this clicked deeply into his own value system and even motivated a desire to serve others in future as well as protect them if need arose.

The recent studies in criminology, especially taken from classroom angle, made him excited. On the other hand, practical experience made him more enthusiastic. Xander wanted to learn about various careers within law enforcement. Would love to be a Sheriff if given that opportunity where he would contribute his effort towards crime prevention. Among other things, Xander was attracted by the Sherriff Department's community policing approach which emphasized on ways of preventing crime at grassroots.

Sitting comfortably and watching events unfold on the television news channel, Xander wished he could actively participate in justice and safety provision. He imagined encountering difficult situations that required high mental abilities. However, impinging on this idea of service as an act of transforming lives for better; Xander insisted that there is something large than oneself that can be done each day.

Upon reflecting back on himself, Xander admitted his former selfishness. Today however, he looked for activities to develop his problem-solving skills. As for two years now, He has been dedicated towards improving his communication skills because he realized how crucial it is not only in personal life but also professional growth. It represented an important development in terms of his commitment since contribution has meaning when it leads to change or improvement for one's community.
