Instructions to the Applicant

The information you provide in this Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST.
  • It is your responsibility to complete this form and provide all required information.
  • This document must be filled out electronically and printed.
  • You must respond to all items and questions. Check applicable boxes with an "X". If a question does not apply to you, write “D.N.A” (does not apply) in the space provided for your response.
  • By submitting this form, you affirm that you have read and understood the Essential Job Functions and Selection Requirements of the position applied for.
  • (( Preview your application before submitting it to make sure that all the BBCode works properly. If it does not, use the blank application format as a guidance tool to fix it. Try to avoid touching the BBCode and only fill out text answers, and that way it will not break. ))
Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

BOTTOM LINE: You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful responses.

Spoiler: show
Salvador Armado was born in South Los Santos, San Andreas, Jefferson County General Hospital, and grew up with his parents in a house in the city of Idlewood. His father was a former police officer for the Idlewood Police Department and his mother was a housewife.

He spent his entire childhood in that area, studying at Idlewood Elementary School and after finishing elementary school he attended high school at Idlewood High School. In elementary and high school he was very sociable, always looking for a conversation with a classmate, he had a couple of friends in high school, after finishing high school he enrolled at Los Santos University to study Criminal Justice. Since he was a child, Salvador was inspired by his father to become a law enforcement officer, which is why he decided to study Criminal Justice in his dream of seeking a professional career in law enforcement.

At the university, in addition to studying, he signed up for the baseball team. He was always passionate about sports. He was much more sociable within the university facilities, as expected, he always looked for something to do and started a conversation to make friends. Despite being on the baseball team, he was always focused on his studies, since for him, it was very important to get ahead in order to help his family and honor his father's past. During his studies and exams at the university, he demonstrated his ability. After finishing his studies and graduating, he returned to his parents' home, but with an injury to his right arm (Tommy John surgery) that did not allow him to continue playing baseball.

After returning home and obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice, he received much more inspiration and motivation from his father to pursue a police career. This is how he decided to join the LSSD for the endless opportunities it offers, and because it is the way in which he can not only serve his community of Idlewood, but the entire Los Santos County.
