Instructions to the Applicant

The information you provide in this Application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST.
  • It is your responsibility to complete this form and provide all required information.
  • This document must be filled out electronically and printed.
  • You must respond to all items and questions. Check applicable boxes with an "X". If a question does not apply to you, write “D.N.A” (does not apply) in the space provided for your response.
  • By submitting this form, you affirm that you have read and understood the Essential Job Functions and Selection Requirements of the position applied for.
  • (( Preview your application before submitting it to make sure that all the BBCode works properly. If it does not, use the blank application format as a guidance tool to fix it. Try to avoid touching the BBCode and only fill out text answers, and that way it will not break. ))
Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

BOTTOM LINE: You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful responses.

Joseph Vargas was born in Los Santos. Raised in the neighborhood of Las Colinas, he witnessed both the struggles and the strengths of his community at such a young age. He witnessed how violence and poverty could affect everyday lives, including his.
Joseph was raised in a modest and hardworking family which taught him the value of integrity and service.
Joseph wasn't the type of kid you'd find outside. Instead, he spent that time studying. While other were getting caught up in the streets, Joseph spent that time finding a way to do something great for his future and the safety of his community, where he could make a real impact. His goal was clear, to give back to the community that raised and shaped him.
Years went by, and Joseph ended up attending Los Santos High School. During his time there, he earned a reputation for his strong work ethic and unwavering determination. After graduating from High school, Joseph had some tough decisions to make. With his mother working as a kindergarten teacher and his father working as a mechanic and a part-time bouncer for a local club, his family income couldn't cover the college expenses. But he didn't give up. Joseph's resolve drove him to seek out scholarship opportunities. All of his academic achievements paid off, earning him a spot at the University of San Andreas.
Despite having a full agenda, Joseph always made sure to contribute to his community, such as organizing youth programs and working side to side-with residents, with a mission to guide unsettled teens away from crimes. This experience made him believe that positive change could start at any point in life, and he wanted to be a part of that change.
Four years passed like nothing. Graduation day came, the day that Joseph was waiting for. This day represented the fulfillment of a dream that Joseph once thought was out of reach.
Now at 23, Joseph is ready to take the next step. Tirelessly pursuing opportunities to serve his community. Whether through law enforcement or not, Joseph is ready.
