EXTERNAL TRANSFER INFORMATION
Former employees of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department and/or Los Santos Police Department out of other notable communities are entitled to request a transfer to the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department.
The outcome of the transfer depends on their past in the department, their absence, the rank they have had before leaving and in some cases events that have occured in the time of their absence.
In some cases transferees may be asked to attend an interview with a member of our Command or Executive Staff before getting a result. See below for requirements and additional information on the transfer.

FORMER EMPLOYEES
Transfers will typically be offered a rank equivalent or lower to their previous position (subject to departmental needs and availability). Factors such as length of absences, last position held, disciplinary history & overall service record will be considered. Transfers will always be evaluated on a case-by-cases basis.
A former employee may be asked to attend some or all parts of the department's academy program before rejoining. In some cases former employees are asked to attend an academy training session before being transferred in order to bring them up to date with new procedures.

Members who have not been in either Los Santos County Sheriff's Department/Los Santos Police Department in the past two years may expect to be directed to go through the recruitment process or the trainee program, considering the large amount of changes in the faction and the server that have taken place.
A sufficient amount of effort is expected for all applications. Factors that increase the expectancy for effort/reasoning to be allowed in the faction include but are not limited to: having been kicked from a faction, having a bad community image, having a bad admin record, inactivity on the server, and so on.
Members who have been using the same character for many years may be required to use a new name.
Members must have passed the probationary phase of the respective department. Recruits or those in probationary status will not be accepted.
