(( MESSAGE FROM THE SHERIFF ))

Image
Hello everyone,

As we approach the two-month mark since the server's opening, I find myself deeply moved by the unwavering activity and effort we are collectively pouring into our community. It's genuinely heartwarming to witness the dedication each day. With our recruitment drive in full swing, we are on the verge of welcoming new members to our ranks. To all the graduates anticipating their upcoming examinations, I extend my heartfelt best wishes.

I'd like to share some important news. As you all know, the responsibility for jail/custody was under our jurisdiction. However, after thoughtful discussions with factions within the custody, they have expressed a preference for the concept of a state prison rather than a custody setting. Over the past few weeks, ongoing discussions have taken place regarding the necessity of SADCR.

This initiative is now moving forward. The faction has laid down its leadership and a comprehensive structure. As soon as the faction is fully prepared both in-game and on the forum, we will be transferring the jail/custody responsibility to SADCR, subsequently disbanding our Custody Services Division.

For those of you interested in taking on the role of a correctional officer, please reach out to Kaos, our new warden. You can find the Discord invitation here.

As a gentle reminder, the window for faction suggestions remains open. If you believe you have an idea that could positively impact the faction, we encourage you to share it with us. We'll be closing the suggestion period soon to diligently review all the current proposals.

In this moment, I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your steadfast support in-game. It's because of your presence that none of this progress would be attainable.

With heartfelt regards,
Kenneth Larosa (Jack)

Sheriff Kenneth Larosa

(( FACTION UPDATES ))

LOS SANTOS COUNTY SHERIFF'S ACADEMY 01-2022
Our faction has been in charge of the first academy since the server started. Of the 93 applicants to the academy, 12 made it through and became Deputy Sheriff Trainees. At this point, most have become Deputy Sheriffs, which we celebrate them once again and encourage them to keep it up. It is also to the credit of the Field Training Officers who have been professional and insightful in training and supervising the trainees, for which we congratulate them!

SHERIFF'S PRESS PASSES
This month, the Sheriff's Information Bureau along with faction leadership have implemented a new procedure by which we can highlight our in-game activity, namely the Sheriff's Press Pass. This pass will be offered to individuals who conduct press activities and will be able to be present both on the faction's Discord, with access to see the pager, and in-game scenes by presenting the pass in-character. In this way, we can expose the actions the department takes part in to the general public. Currently, only the San Andreas Network has this type of access.

STABILISATION OF THE COMMAND TEAM
This month, four new members joined the Command Team, which provides stability in terms of faction leadership and oversight and management of faction divisions and units. As a result, the faction now has an effective Chain of Command, with a new batch of Supervisors coming on board next month to continually fill the available Supervisor positions.

FACTION SUGGESTIONS
Suggestions for the faction have been flowing this month as well. They are currently being evaluated and discussed so that we can make the most effective provisions for the faction and our members, maintain high standards of roleplay, and have fun as well.
