Timothy Knight wrote:In the early hours of July 8th, our Special Enforcement Bureau was requested by the Los Santos Police Department to assist them in responding to a situation involving ten armed individuals barricaded on Atlantic Avenue. On that day, Cano demonstrated exceptional bravery by rappelling down a multi-story building and executing a tactical entry through a third-floor window, which was the only viable approach to flank suspects who were refusing to surrender and were threatening with live fire, posing direct danger to the lives of all deputies and officers involved. Successfully positioning behind the suspects, the deputy facilitated their apprehension, breaking a 2-hour standstill and allowing the rest of the SWAT team to advance. This deputy exhibited selfless courage, disregarding personal safety to protect others.
